If you're looking to fly anywhere this summer, you need to sign up for the alert emails from

Airfare Watchdog!

Tell it your departing airport (or airports if you live in New York) 

and it will send you emails with the lowest fares (even unadvertised ones!).

You can even set it up to watch specific routes for you!

The Great GoogaMooga Festival!

Wow. What a party over the weekend at Prospect Park in Brooklyn!

You don't want to miss out on the Great GoogaMooga Festival next year!

More than 70 food vendors (many city favorites!) and 20 concerts!

It was a great evening walking around on a gorgeous Saturday evening! 

Glad we took advantage of the nice weather because it looks to be a rainy week!

Madison Square Eats

So many tempting choices at Madison Square Eats this year!

Since it was a warm day, I ended up going back to People's Pops twice for lemon shaved ice.

So refreshing!

And the Roberta's pizza from Brooklyn was an amazing new find! 

Another reason to head across the bridge!

(Though you don't have to right now - since you could just go to Madison Square Park between 11am-9pm!)

 Madison Square Eats runs through June 1st so don't miss it!

Good to know - the lines can be pretty long between 11:30am-2pm.

A late lunch or early dinner might help you avoid the crowds!

Made a Matching Skirt and Shirt!

Whew! Passed my final at FIT last night!

Loved making the skirt! And so excited it fits my sister, Brooke, perfectly!

Shirts - on the other hand - are quite tricky.. I may have made two 'left' sleeves :)

My teacher asked me about my career goals (meaning fashion!).. lol.. 

I didn't want to hurt her feelings so I told her I'm definitely interested in taking more classes!

I'll take her comment as a compliment! 

It was a fun semester, but I am so ready for summer break!
