New WONDERful things to C in Soho

When people ask about an original shopping experience at boutiques in New York,
I never have a great list of places to tell them.
{Please share if you do!!}
The shops usually seem too expensive and not very big.

C Wonder will be my new go to suggestion!
It's located at Spring Street in Soho and will not disappoint!

It has a little bit of something for everyone! {And the prices will surprise you :)}
Especially this Christmas season if you're looking for a gift for that person that already has everything!
 I'll start first in the back of the store in the home section where I found these gorgeous dishes!
 So many fun little gifts ideas...
 Mmm..
 Oops! You caught me wearing open toe heels in November! It was almost 70 yesterday!!
 All of their prints were stunning! You could decorate a room around them!
 The green and navy was my favorite! So regal!
 This combination would be perfect for Thanksgiving!!
Now, if only I was really planning on cooking - then I could justify these!
I overheard some say "this looks like Kate Spade" - while checking out the jewelry.
I'd agree! It's all beautiful!!
 The clothing has its own distinct style - but looks a little like J Crew {which has been amazing the past few seasons!}
I may have finally found rain boots I love!
And they're less than Hunter's!
My initials! It makes a delightful pair - don't you think!?

I had to take pics of these ones too because they were just so cute :)
 Their home section really has a little bit of everything! Even this heart shaped waffle maker!
 And there's the flag you're looking for when you walk down Spring Street!

Check it out!

And if you need a lunch after - Lombardi's is only a few blocks away!
Not to mention - there's a Pinkberry and Rice to Riches on the same street too!

Something pretty everywhere you look!

Purl Soho
459 Broome St. (between Greene and Mercer St.)
Last week, I headed to one of the most amazing fabric, yarn, crafty shops in the city - Purl Soho - to grab a graduation gift for my sister! It's one of those stores where every color of yarn and every fabric print is absolutely gorgeous! Really - they only have beautiful, fun prints here!

I love these pre-made packets of fabric! They're so fun and such a great gift for friends!
Even the way everything is displayed and arranged is beautiful! If you're in Soho, this is a place you'll definitely want to see - even if you don't have a crafty project in mind! They might just inspire you!
Good to know: The hours are fairly limited. I showed up at 11:15am last week only to realize they don't open until noon. Purl Soho is open Monday through Friday from 12-7pm; Saturday and Sunday 12-6pm.

You'll want to take more than a Bite here...

Bite
211 East 14th Street (between 2nd and 3rd Ave.)
335 Lafayette Street (at Bleeker)

This is one of my new favorites! Bite is an organic-friendly, counter-service lunch or quick dinner place with unbelievable service and the most amazing dessert!

So the real reason to come here is for the Nutella Ciabatta! (It's on the breakfast part of the menu, but don't worry - they serve it all day!) Its a hot-pressed sandwich with nutella and bananas inside. Mmm.. is your mouth watering yet? Seriously, it should be. I've taken four friends to this place and no one has been disappointed yet. If you're ordering this with lunch or dinner, just ask and they'll bring the ciabatta out after you've had your meal so its hot! :)

I usually get the split pea or lentil soup for lunch so I can somewhat justify having the ciabatta for dessert!

Just realized that in this photo, you caught me! Two diet cokes with lunch :)

Know before you go: There's about 25 (rough guess) seats at the Union Square location. The Soho location has a few outdoor stools, but otherwise, plan on taking it to go.
