60 East 14th Street (between Broadway and 4th Ave.)
So you were probably starting to think this blog would be just about food.. But not anymore (I think this is post #4;)! Part of what makes the city frustrating is that most everything you could want to find/buy is here - it's just sometimes hard to locate! I'm going to try to feature over the next few weeks some of my favorite places to shop in the city.
1. We finally have a taste of Nordstrom in the city!
2. It's open until 10pm Monday - Saturday. Seriously, I don't think you can stay at Nordstrom that late in the burbs unless its Christmas time!
3. From Michael Kors to Max Studio - the store is jam packed with lots of great brands.
4. Customer service is great! Not a surprise here!
5. Nordstrom Rack accepts returns from Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com.
6. The sunglass, purse and bath products section is pretty large.
7. There is a Whole Foods, Best Buy and Forever 21 on the same block. (From groceries to electronics to clothing, you can take care of most of your shopping needs right there!)
8. I've been pretty impressed with how much they fit in the store, but it isn't a mess.
9. There is a restroom in the back by the women's dressing room.
10. Fingers crossed we get a real Nordstrom here someday!!
Good to know before you go: I usually find the selection is a little better and its slightly less crowded - if I go early in the morning or late at night.
