A Loveliest Weekend in DC

What a gorgeous weekend!
We headed down to DC to enjoy General Conference weekend!
General Conference is when the prophets and leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints speak to us!
It's one of my favorite weekends of the year because their messages are always so inspiring!

Unfortunately, the cherry blossoms were already gone because of the early spring,
but there were plenty of other flowers in full bloom for us to enjoy!
Thanks to live streaming and this pretty speaker from C Wonder - we enjoyed listening to several sessions
of General Conference on the lawn near the Capitol!
Isn't she precious! She was such a good baby! Didn't even cry once!
 Walking around Downtown DC!
I just love the beautiful, old town homes lining the streets!
The tulips were in full bloom everywhere and quite a treat to see!
Looking at the pink-blossomed trees in front of the Supreme Court!
 Look at that smile!
Walking past the Capitol one last time with the group!
On Sunday afternoon, we walked over to the recently dedicated Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial to check it out!
It was absolutely beautiful to see! So impressive!
Taking in one last bit of sunshine with the girls!
Walking back to Union Station from our fancy hotel (that we got for cheap!) to take the train back to the city!
Thanks for a fabulous weekend!
Hope you're enjoying spring as much as we are!

  1. WARM! I'm jealous! We're still in the high 50s, low 60s here, and although our winter is not much to complain about I'm ready for a warm spring! :)

I love your floral top with the pink pants—I kinda stink at putting patterns and colors together, but I'd like to improve!

Also, how relaxing to listen to conference on the grass!
