And surprisingly I'm excited for it! Usually, I don't want summer to end,
but these cooler temps have been so nice!
A friend and I walked the Brooklyn Bridge the other day {one of my favs}
and were lucky enough to get a table at Grimaldi's!
19 Old Fulton St. (under the Brooklyn Bridge)
Keep in mind if you're going to expect a line :)
...and crowded tables!
But it will be oh so worth it...
when you try their fresh {real} New York pizza!
One trick {that sometimes works} for getting Grimaldi's is to call ahead for pick up.
Sometimes, I can get through on the phone {after 19 calls} and sometimes I can't.
If you can place an order for take out, I'd walk down to the new Brooklyn waterfront
and eat it here.
If you want to eat {real} New York pizza in Manhattan, head to Lombardi's in SoHo.
Cash only as well here :)
I love your blog, you always have the best tips! we will have to try both these places out :)
ReplyDeleteor check out the new grimaldi's at limelight! right in the heart of the city, same pizza, and very often no lines (thanks to the fact that most people don't know about it!). xo
