This weekend getaway was exactly what we were hoping for!
Read our books by the pools, floated down the lazy river and enjoyed the warm breeze!
Orlando is less than a three-hour flight away from New York and there's plenty of direct options.
As I mentioned before, hotel deals are plentiful in Orlando - especially if you look around online.
We scored this beautiful 4.5-star resort with multiple pools for less than $100 a night!
There's a zero-entry family pool and a fun spray park too!
Hopefully, we'll make it back when we can take advantage of those "little one" features someday!
The 4.5-star Omni is a little bit further from the Disney attractions
(a plus for us - at least for this weekend:),
but it's perfect if you want to just relax and enjoy the resort!
We made it over to Downtown Disney one night to meet up with some of Brett's friends from high school.
It was fun to walk around and take in the Disney ambiance!
Crazy to think that in not too long .. someone else in the house might enjoy "Cars" even more than me :)
