While wandering around Tribeca, I came across Lot Less and headed inside to see what they had. It's a lot of 'stuff' crammed into one place, but what I really did like was all of the organizational things they had for so much less!
You have to think vertically in New York apartments. Every bit of space is key and that's why every apartment needs a good stepping stool! I have one like this and a large two-step one. They rarely get put away because I'm constantly using them to put things away or get them down!
We had two portable closets like this in our first apartment! It's nice when they have a cover like this one! $29.99 isn't a bad price for that either!
You might have thought bed risers were only for college kids, but we have loved used them in all of our apartments in the city! Those extra couple of inches help us fit all of our suitcases under our beds!
I recently got some cabinet shelves like these and it definitely helped me maximize my kitchen! And give it a cleaner look too!
I especially love the narrow bins for 99 cents! Those are great to use on the shelfs behind the mirrors in bathrooms. They keep everything from falling out everytime you open the mirror!
Stacking bins are always good! As well as a cart to roll things around in! (Though I haven't given into one of those quite yet!)

Good to know: Lot Less is a closeout store so obviously the selection will vary. If you're just getting started organizing an apartment or looking to clean out one you've been in for a while, I'd measure the areas you're looking to organize. Then, check out Lot Less to see if you can find what you need for cheap. Finally - if you're looking for a bin to fit a specific space that you can't find at Lot Less, try The Container Store {definitely expect to pay a little bit more there though :)}
